i cannot see any tabs only the current one, where is the "+" sign to open new tab

Chosen solution

Hi, please try : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 62.0.0 with a Full Version Installer

Hi frosty101, normally the new tab button is immediately to the right of the current tab. If you hover the mouse over that area and click, do you get a new tab -- or in other words, has the + symbol become invisible?

If a click there doesn't work, try restoring the default layout of the toolbar area. There's a "Restore defaults" button at the bottom of the Customize screen. More info here: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

Any improvement?

Another workaround: Ctrl+t
