Is there a way to increase the session restore backup count?

For normal browsing the session restore is fine as is, but as soon as anything starts going wrong it becomes completely worthless as by the time I have noticed something's up it has overwritten the normal backup session a few times over. As a result I have to restore back to the last upgrade or something stupid, it would be nice if I could tell session restore to keep additional backup files during normal operation, it's not like they take up much disk space. Ideally something like keeping one a day for a week and one each hour of the current day would be nice. Also the option to take them manually would be welcome too.
