How do I import bookmarks from back-up file after hard drive change? Every time I try to import the back-up file (html format) firefox stops responding?
Using latest Windows 10 on a PC. Have used Firefox for years never had any problems before this. Firefox simply refuses to import my saved bookmarks.

Do you have a lot of bookmarks? Sometimes Firefox takes a long time to import a large HTML bookmark file.
After some amount of time (30-60 seconds?), you may see a dialog indicating that a script is slowing Firefox giving you an option to stop or continue. Click Continue.

Thanks for your help, I just wasn't patient enough - they've all appeared now, there is a lot of them!
