Firefox is printing the NYT crossword too far left and cuts off the numbers and i'm having to use Chrome to do this.

details are in the question

I just switched back to Firefox from using Chrome for many years. I used to have Mozilla and Firefox for a long time before that - am I to be sorry I switched back ??? I print the puzzle 3 times a week and having to "work around'" this is ridiculous. I use an iMac Sierra.

Can you provide a link to this crossword?

nytimes.com/crosswords The Crossword is in the middle and if you move your cursor to the grid it says print and go from there. (I subscribe, but you can try to print any of the previous ones )- Firefox cuts off the numbers of the left side clues.)Even when I cut the puzzle out and feed it through the copier, it does the same thing. Chrome prints it in the middle of the page just fine, and luckily has all my tabs still on it. But I shouldn't have to "work around" when Firefox is supposed to now be better than Chrome. I used Mozilla a hundred years ago when it first came out and then Firefox, but have used Chrome for years now.

Note Firefox is software and is subject to the quirks of corruption like any other software so yes work around. Also it has to be trouble shot like your car has to be when there is issues that are unexplained.

Please see if these help find the issue :

I have an iMac running Sierra - where is Print Preview ? The first two links did nothing, but I was trying the third and have no Print Preview.

The best one is in this menu : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-firefox-controls-buttons-and-toolbars

The other one comes up when you click Print from the 3 Bar Menu.

Tough seems like it has changed to the same as the other one. I do not print often so just checked after I sent info. Sorry about that. I guess within the last 2 versions it changed.

As a Windows user, I find Mac printing very puzzling. During the time I had access to a Mac, I used this extension to call up Firefox's Print Preview display:

Trying to install the Print Preview button, it says that my version of Firefox will not take it. My version is updated as far as it can be and so is my iMac.  ???

Where does the message appear?

How about the button on the "Versions" page? https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/preview-print-button/versions/
