I have tried to uninstall but everytime I try it says that firefox is already running. I check my task manager and it isn't. I bought my computer in Taiwan if that helps. I would appreciate any advice.

Please give your self a Scan : https://www.malwarebytes.com/ then : Please download a Full Version Installer from : https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ Then : Please start your System in to Safe Mode with Network Support. Safe Mode in Windows 10 is to use the Shift + Restart combination. Open the Start menu and click or tap on the Power button.

While keeping the Shift key pressed, click or tap on Restart. Note that you can also use the Shift + Restart combination from the Sign In screen: click or tap Power, press and hold Shift and then click or tap Restart. Then : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data Get a Copy of your Profile or better yet since it may be the problem cut and paste it some where to try and recover data from it. Or leave it and find out what happens. Worst would be to do the reboot again.

Uninstall and then reinstall.
