Why keep getting an IP block error when trying to register Scribus?
I've downloaded Scribus. Firefox is my default browser & downloaded thru it.
I received a confirmation email. Then was able to do 1st step of id.
When I complete the sign up form, so that I may use the program, an error message comes up stating that the program is blocked from the IP address I am using.
There has been no problem installing or uninstalling programs previously.
FireFox was updated within the week, so I believe that it is at the latest version. Thanks!

Your IP address is determined by your network service provider. That could the provider of your cable or DSL connection, or it could be a VPN service provider, if you use a VPN service.
Does the error message list your current IP address?
One site to check what information is available for your IP address -- I'm sure there are others -- is this one:
Does that show the information you expect or does it seem not to match your connection?
