My Mac Address Book has disappeared from the Thunderbird Address Book Window. How do I get it back?

Posted

As far as I can remember, my Mac Address Book has always appeared in the Thunderbird Address Book window. Any ideas how I get it back?

Chosen solution

File -> Use Mac OS X Address Book

But there is a security setting on OSX that has to be set to allow the address book to be used. check this as well. System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy

You'll see a few Apps and System Functions where you can allow other apps to access them.

Thanks so much for the reply. In the meantime I’ve just updated the OS to latest MacOS and it now works again fine.

If I could find your solution code in the files I would try. But I can't get anything relating to or being part of the solution . And I am on the latest OS version.
