Hi Aboutblankhelp, usually about:blank is there temporarily until Firefox starts loading the actual results page. So in my mind, the problem is that the search results are not loading. Does the address bar change to the results page address -- and if it does and you click in it and press Enter, does Firefox load it on the second try? Does this problem occur with all search engine options, or just one? You could test with different default search engines on the Options page. See: [[Change your default search settings in Firefox]].
