Hi, using Dish satellite for internet. Get a certain amount of high speed each month. After that speed is reduced. Which is fine. But after that it keeps taking me to a Dish webpage - https://www.mydish.com/upgrades/products/internet-phone/data/

Which says-

"NOTICE As a courtesy, we want to notify you that you have used 100% of your Monthly Anytime Usage Allowance for the current service period. Your download speeds will be significantly reduced for the remainder of the service period. To view your data usage meter, purchase additional capacity or see details about upgrading your service package, please log into MyDish.com below. Thank you for being a valued DISH customer."

It would be fine if it did this once. Or even once a day. But it does it numerous times a day. Limitless really. Because sometimes when ever you click to go to a webpage, wether it be from a bookmark or link on the page you're on, it will take you to the Dish page. Rendering internet access in large part unusable. Because you could have a million redirects to the Dish page if you kept clicking. It happens at various times of the day and night. As well as lasts for various lengths of time, before temporarily going back to normal. Not sure why it does what when. Besides how Dish has it set and wont change it.
Dish offers no fix. Basically they do this on purpose to try to annoy you enough to purchase more high speed. Which I dont want.
So, question is, can/how can the Dish 'redirects' be stopped?
thanks

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Flash 16.0 r0 by removing it as it is too old to update and too old just to uninstall it. Plus there are 100's of attack issues with something as old as that. https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html Reinstall with Flash Player Version: 30.0.0.113 Current Version https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>

Note : Current release for XP is 52.9.1esr and one more update before End of Life Support by Firefox for XP.

HI, since it is from your Service Provider it can not be stopped in Firefox but you maybe able to block it in your Firewall Software if it has that function/ability.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
