Hi skelley, you said --

Firefox is currently the default browser. However, when I search, it opens a new tab but with no search results.

-- where are you entering your search query? For example:

  • Firefox's address bar
  • Firefox's search bar on the main toolbar (shorter bar)
  • A search box in a web page in Firefox
  • Somewhere else ??

What page do you get if you launch a new window or a new tab in Firefox? There are a couple ways to do that:

  • New Window
    • Inside Firefox, press Ctrl+n
    • Right-click the Firefox icon on the Windows Taskbar, and use the "Open new window" command in the Tasks section
  • New Tab
    • Inside Firefox, press Ctrl+t
    • Right-click the Firefox icon on the Windows Taskbar, and use the "Open new tab" command in the Tasks section

Do you get useful pages or just blank tabs?
