I have my bookmarks only in sqlite format. How do I import them?

I have done a clean Win install but due to my negligence I have not properly backed up all my browser data. Using a file recovery program I have managed to recover my old Mozila profile, however simply copying the old files in the new profile folder doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know any workarounds?

Note that it isn't guaranteed that the files are recovered correctly. If clusters have been reused in the meantime then the recovered file is corrupted.
