Good day. Every time I type a draft message in Thunderbird any version over the last 3 years, there is 7 or more copies of this that ends up in gmail drafts and send.

I did not send and as I type each new sentence or paragraph becomes a new message.

Then the people on the receiving end gets this in spam, no topic on the message or the email get blocked as spam as a result of this.

So I am forced to only use Thunderbird to read messages and have to login to browser based gmail to type a message.

This is very counter productive and negative for any communication.

If this can not be fixed, is there another similar program that I can use and extract the 10 emails i have in Thunderbird + content and ?? 37gb ??? data associated with it into another program without thunderbird deleting 90% of the data off of gmail and other email accounts / not loosing older emails as has happened in the past.

I would guess you are merging a number of issues into one here.

Draft messages are drafts, they are not sent anywhere. Nor has anyone even shown them to be sent unless the send button is clicked or the short cut for send Ctrl+Enter is used. My guess is you use ctrl+Enter without realising your have your fingers on the Ctrl key.
