I refreshed to original settings and I really only wanted to delete a task bar that I accidentally downloaded. Can I just go to the icon for prior docs and put it all back?

Please explain " icon for prior docs" as no idea. If you want to go to the 3 Bar Menu then Customize, yes put it back together provided the Refresh fixed your issue.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

After a Refresh, the Bookmarks Toolbar is turned off. To turn that back on, show the toolbar list using any of these methods:

  • right-click (on Mac Ctrl+click) a blank spot on the tab bar (or the "+" button)
  • (menu bar) View > Toolbars
On Windows, tap the Alt key to activate the menu bar temporarily.
  • in Customize mode > Toolbars button (see: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars)

To turn on the Bookmarks Toolbar, Menu Bar, or other bars, click it on the list. Hopefully your bookmarks are all still there.

Oh, if you meant that you want to use the Old Firefox Data folder to roll back your Refresh, there's no "one-step" method for that, but it can be done. The following thread has a detailed procedure:

I did a Reset of Firefox - How do i get add my 'Old firefox data' back?

Sorry I said it that way. I meant the icon placed on my desktop when I refreshed that contains all my old settings and preferences. Am I making myself clear yet? Please answer again and thank you.

If the icon is a folder called Old Firefox Data, and you want to use the contents of that folder to restore your earlier settings, then please see the link in my previous reply.
