Can I use 'previous.jsonlz4' to restore a previous session?

Recently my computer crashed and when I re-opened it firefox came up with restore. However, instead of restoring the way I'm used to it working, it restored 1 empty tab. I've tried looking through solutions here but they either didn't work when I tried them or I struggled to make sense of them. I tried looking for direct firefox support with no luck so I'm seeing if this does anything. I managed to salvage 2 files from 4 days ago being my previous file and my upgrade file. Can I restore tabs from between 1 hour ago to 10 days ago with this?

Make sure to keep a backup copy of all files in the sessionstore-backups folder. Do not close Firefox if Firefox is already running.
