New emails get deleted instantly
Got Beta version installed. Problem is that occasionally/rarely new emails coming in appear briefly and vanish completely. Luckily I use Mailwasher Pro and retrieve them from there.

Where does Mailwasher find them? Which folder? It's looking at the server so if it can find them there they haven't really been deleted.
Mailwasher retains them in the recycle bin. I delete from Mailwasher once I've selected those I want to keep and launched the mail program (in this case Mailbird) to download them. When Mailbird launched, the downloaded email appeared briefly (10 seconds) and then disappeared.
Still happening. Check Mailwasher delete previews I don't want and mark for delete. The 'Wash Mail' which: 1. deletes those I marked for deletion and 2. Launches the email program (Mailbird) and the mail not deleted gets downloaded to Mailbird. As often as not, I get to view it on MB (Inmail). But when I later relaunch MB, it has disappeared altogether. Then I have to recover from Mailwasher 'Deleted Items' folder. Which is a total PITA. Makes MB unusable for me with this error.
You keep saying "Mailbird". This is a Thunderbird support forum.
Finger trouble. I think the majority of people would realise it was a small mistake. For the sake of clarity, the whole of this thread is referring to Mailbird. Not a huge surprise since this is the Mozilla Forum. Hey-ho.
Still you talk of Mailbird. Mailbird is a desktop email client for Windows 7, 8 and 10, inspired by the Sparrow email client for OS X. Wikipedia. So it is not a small mistake. And to quote your last response.

I think you are just persisting in calling Thunderbird mailbird. If that is the case, what you are doing is akin to walking into a Ford dealership and asking for help with your Audi and saying it is only a small error that you really meant your Ford Explorer and then asking again for help with your Audi. So far al you have done is clarified you are asking in the wrong forum for the wrong product.
Assuming it is Thunderbird, is your account IMAP or POP.

- Open Help (or click on three-line-icon and select Help)
- Choose Troubleshooting Information
- Use the button Copy to clipboard to select all. Do not check box "Include account names"!

Does Mailbird not offer built in Junk filtering like Thunderbird? I would suggest that you try not using Mailwasher for a reasonable period to see if the issue really is with Mailbird.
