SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP Your server apparently doesn't offer any cipher suites necessary to establish a secure https connection that are supported in Firefox. You can check what kind of cipher suites Firefox can make use of by visiting; https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/viewMyClient.html

The only feasible action i can take is to upgrade my Firefox version. However i do have the very recent one. My problem is still there. Thank you, however.

It is possible that the website has outdated server software and doesn't support moder cipher suites used in current Firefox releases.

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?

You can also check the server.

I do not know what is wrong, i am trying to access amtrak.com and cannot. Thank you anyway

I had no problem with the link.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?

The amtrak server only supports TLS 1.2 and a very limited set of cipher suites according to a server test (3 acceptible and 4 weak).

TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA384 (0xc028) ECDH secp256r1 (eq. 3072 bits RSA) FS 256
TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA256 (0xc027) ECDH secp256r1 (eq. 3072 bits RSA) FS 128
TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256 (0xcca8) ECDH secp256r1 (eq. 3072 bits RSA) FS

What security software do you have?

If you have security software that act as a man-in-the-middle and doesn't support TLS 1.2 or otherwise do not have TLS 1.2 enabled then you will run into trouble with accessing this server.
