Gifs and gifvs have a tendency to stretch beyond the regular size of my browser, and I constantly have to scroll up and down to watch it. How do restrict it to size of my screen resolution?

Doesn't zooming out work to make these images smaller?

You may have accidentally zoomed web page(s). Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

  • View -> Zoom -> Reset (Ctrl+0/Command+0 (zero))

You can also check the DPI settings in Windows and layout.css.devPixelsPerPx on the about:config page.
