Saving old messages from offline server

Posted

Hello,

My companies mail server bit the dust recently. It was actually a newer server, and a power outage screwed up the boot disk. So, I've got a new one up and running, but I need to copy the old messages over.

I can see, open, and read all the messages in thunderbird, but it won't let me copy them to the new server. When I try, it attempts to connect to the old server, and fails (of course).

How can I copy these messages?

Thanks!

If you're the server admin, you should know what needs to be set up in Thunderbird to access that server.
