Die website www.heikoplate. de wird als gefährlich eingestuft, was ich bezweifle. Grund der Avira Browser Schutz: sicher!

Since February Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox check websites for malware using Google Safe Browsing My website www.heikoplate.de since that time has been considered dangerous. The definitive reason could not be communicated to me. However, I had a certain suspicion.

The site contains local links to zipped installation files for self-created programs released by the freeware NSIS

http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Main_Page

be generated by virus-free modules. These zip files are marked as malware by some antivirus programs by VirusTotal.com. Despite repeated call of the website and installation of the programs my Windows system was always clean afterwards. I have never received any complaints from my users.

That was an indication for me that I should now replace all the NSIS setup files by Windows Installer Files (.msi) that I created with the tool "Advanced Installer".

Result: Google and Firefox now reports that the website is clean.

So Google Safe Browsing did not study the NSIS setup files intensively enough for malware, but it's probably just a data structure that could point to real viruses.

If your site is blocked by Google Safe Browsing, you should take action on their site. Check the reason why your site is blocked: https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/security/hacked/how_do_I_know_if_site_hacked

Any specific reason you use Firefox 49.0?

The System Details list shows you run an older Firefox version that is no longer supported with security updates.

Please update to the current Firefox 58.0.2 release.

You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (58.0.2) in all languages and all operating systems here:
