Can Firefox open a bookmark in the first window instead of opening a new window, ONLY on the first instance of opening a bookmark?

The previous version of Firefox used to open a bookmark in the first window of your newly opened homepage, but subsequent bookmarks would then open in their own new windows. The current version opens the first bookmark in a new window too, which is not the end of the world, but would be great if it worked like the last version.
