I have tried to setup filter on my subfolder, but it does not work. Not even when I ask filter to run manual. How do I setup a global filter for all of my accounts?

A screen shot, or a listing of the contents of the appropriate msgFilterRules.dat file might be useful.

Thunderbird doesn't have a "global filter"; you have to set them up on each account. :-(

Filters only run automatically on an account's Inbox, or optionally when sending or Archiving; if you want to run filters on other folders you have to run them by hand.
