Hi

Following open.sap link shows video but it not playing: https://open.sap.com/courses/bwhana1-1/items/593plCM6ecuf2NNuSNfwrl

Where other videos are working fine, open.sap representative said there is no issue from there end. So I check different videos in open.sap site but non of them is playing.

That is likely because your are on the Windows XP platform.

Firefox relies on built-in OS support to play media files via the HTML5 media player. On the Windows XP platform you do not have native support for playing MP4 files with the HTML5 media player.

You can try if the solution posted here to add support for playing MP4 files works for you.

Hi I did following steps but my issue not resolve:

To be able to install and operate the Primetime CDM, add and/or set the following FF preferences in about:config (be careful, all of these are cAsE sEnSiTiVe!):

media.gmp-eme-adobe.enabled (boolean; true)

media.gmp-eme-adobe.forceSupported (boolean; true; FF 49.0+)

media.gmp-eme-adobe.forcevisible (boolean; true; FF 45-48, no longer used in 49.0+)

media.gmp-eme-adobe.visible (boolean; true; FF 49.0+)

media.gmp-eme-adobe.version (string, not integer; 17; required for manual install now that automatic install is no longer an option)

media.gmp-eme-adobe.abi (string; x86-msvc-x86 (EDIT: x86-msvc-x64 for 64-bit XP users); not required, you can set it if you want to more closely mimic automatic install)

media.gmp-eme-adobe.lastUpdate (integer; 1500000000; not required, you can set it if you want to more closely mimic automatic install)

media.gmp.decoder.enabled (boolean; true)

media.eme.enabled (boolean; true; defaults to false

and To install the plugin:

Open your FF profile folder. An easy way to navigate to it is by opening about:support in FF and clicking the Open Folder button next to Profile Folder. Inside the profile folder, create subfolder gmp-eme-adobe and open it. Inside gmp-eme-adobe, create subfolder 17 and open it. Unpack the Primetime ZIP archive into folder 17. Folder [your FF profile path]\gmp-eme-adobe\17 should now contain three files: eme-adobe.dll, eme-adobe.info, eme-adobe.voucher.

Email them. Maybe the will give you links to them.

You could try this : Download VLC Player (plays anything) https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html and go to the site of the video you want to watch and then put mouse over the video and right click and copy Link Location

On the 1st Command Topic : Media then Open Location From The Clipboard

With luck it will play. or can try over video with mouse and right click inspect element. The path of the video should be right there use Ctrl and C to copy then Ctrl and V to paste to a notepad or do the above thing with Open Location In the Clipboard. It's possible. Can also try Igetter http://www.igetter.net/index.html (might need older version) and do the same thing, copy link location + then -->
