hi, first please make sure that the date, time & timezone are set correctly on your system. if this doesn't solve the issue (or it is already set properly), a solution depends on the individual circumstances:

  • what is the error code shown when you click on advanced on that error page?
  • please also give us more information about the error by clicking on the error code, copying the text to the clipboard and then pasting it here into a reply in the forum like shown in the screenshot.

thank you!

thanks, is this happening in an enterprise environment? as the fake cert that's injected into your secure connections looks very random ("CN=6ed8aff67fcadfb9 2"), otherwise i would speculate that this may be due to malware on your system.

next to the security software already in place, please run a scan with various other security tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner & eset online one-time scanner.

Sorry I forgot to thank you for the prompt response earlier. Thanks a lot.

Enterprise environment?.. well it is my personal laptop using normal internet

Did you try to start in Safe Mode with Networking to see if the problems showed up there as well? I am using FF57.0.2 and have no issues going to by yutubbers logging in and or no logins.

It is a weird certificate if you look at the issuer that shows some random name.

Subject C=US, ST=California, L=Mountain View, O=Google Inc, CN=*.google.com
Issuer C=EN, CN=6ed8aff67fcadfb9 2

You definitely need to run some malware checks.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.

Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
