get rid of message saying time running out
The message says "your session will expire in 1184 seconds and then gives "stay logged in" or "log out" Neither work. I can't get my messages from UCLA Healthj

That could be their form of online security to verify your whom you are. That doesn't come from FF. What messages are you asking about?
Also, your Firefox reported itself as version 12 which is rather ancient now and unsafe to use on the web. Can you check your true version? For example, using either
- (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
- (Firefox 29+) "3-bar" menu button > "?" help button > Troubleshooting Information
- type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
In the first table on the page, do you have a Version row with a larger number? If that's missing, could you copy/paste the Build ID into a reply?
