That could be their form of online security to verify your whom you are. That doesn't come from FF. What messages are you asking about?

Also, your Firefox reported itself as version 12 which is rather ancient now and unsafe to use on the web. Can you check your true version? For example, using either

  • (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
  • (Firefox 29+) "3-bar" menu button > "?" help button > Troubleshooting Information
  • type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter

In the first table on the page, do you have a Version row with a larger number? If that's missing, could you copy/paste the Build ID into a reply?

Assuming you have a more recent version, please clear out that obsolete information using the steps in this article: How to reset the default user agent on Firefox.

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.
