I'm using Ubuntu16.4 with firefox 57.0 (64bit) and I want to open my linksys routers web control page . After typing in my user name & pass word then click ok the sign in page comes back up empty. If I close this sign in then I get error 401 Authorization Required. is this fireFox or do I have some setting set to not allow authorization to 192.168.1.1 I can open my routers web page in windows 7 using Google Chrome. I have dual boot. But I am mostly using Ubuntu16.4 os.

Someone change the settings on you or they change the page : Error. 401 Unauthorized.

That first part is most likely it. I have installed Google chrome and I can get into my Linksys routers set-up page this way. Thanks for all your help & info !
