Is there some way to get the previous user presentation without installing an older version or switching to ESR?

My wife had set up Firefox such that she was comfortable using it. The new release rearranged access to her bookmarks so that using them is now clumsy, tedious, and frustrating (a complaint I share, by the way). In addition, the new release appears noticeably slower on her (admittedly rather old) machine.
