Because the the new update is 2x faster, 30% easier on memory, and looks much better.

That is your opinion.

Overall Firefox 57 Quantum shows major improvements in many areas, but one downside is the loss of Legacy extensions and a lessened level of what the new WebExtensions can modify or affect in Firefox.
