If I download The New Firefox, will I retain or will I lose my tabs that are currently open?

I'm sorry if this question showed up more than once. Each time I hit "Post Question," I get this same screen again. So I don't know if the question has been posted or if it was rejected for some reason.

Hello, if you choose restart Firefox to Update, with your current tabs open, it should automatically restore them, when it restarts after the update.

Thanks, Mkll. I wasn't clear in my question. I am aware that if I update, that my open tabs are saved. However, all of the emails about The New Firefox never refer to it as an update, making me think it might be a totally new application. That's why I'm asking about the tabs, because I don't know for sure if The New Firefox is an update, or if I'm being invited to download something brand new. Thanks!
