What problem are you having with the site? Farmville requires that you have the Flash Plugin installed. Ensure that you have the plugin enabled. Type about:addons in your browser bar to view your list of plugins.

The page loads ok for me and I am able to login to Farmville.

docarchy, thank you for your reply. yes, i know all that you said. however, when i go to farmville in firefox (including if i get there through FB) the page strobes intensely. It doesn't do it in Chrome, Edge, Opera or Safari, however, those browsers run the game so slow it's impossible to play. Zynga says they are aware of the strobing, but have not addressed the issue in months. They have posted that it may be a flash/shockwave issue. Short of wiping my harddrive and starting over, I don't know what to do.

vnillacoffe, what do you mean when you say "the page strobes intensely"?

I installed the flash plugin and the farmville loaded ok for me. I was able to move around and pull up my withered crops and feed a few of my hungry animals.

So I can confirm farmville 2 works in Firefox 57 with the Adobe Flash Plugin. But you mentioned Zynga is aware of the issue, so maybe the problem lies with them?

But no issues here. A screenshot: https://screenshots.firefox.com/qcejlH4KF4YX5zcp/zyngagames.com

That's really a last last resort and wouldn't recommend that just yet. You said Farmville works in other browsers but it's slow?

How much memory do you have in your computer?

Farmville uses a lot of system resources and will slow down your computer if you don't have enough memory to manage it. I have 8 GB of memory in my laptop and it uses 2 - 2.5 GB of that just for Farmville, and that's just from opening it for a few minutes. It will consume more as I play it longer.

What I would recommend right now, is 2 things: 1. Try Farmville under a new Firefox profile (just in case an add-on might be the cause or issue) See here for creating a new profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles 2. Ensure you have the latest version of the Flash plugin installed. See here for updating: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keep-flash-up-to-date-and-troubleshoot-problems

Let me know how it goes.

docarchy, unfortunately I already reset windows to no avail. it's really disgusting to me to go to Farmville and the page is flashing (strobing) horribly even after clean reinstall. I have 4 gb ram and it's never been a problem before. guess i'll just have to play on other browsers even though I prefer firefox. thanks again for your assistance.
