I need help changing Firefox Quantum visuals into Firefox 3.6

http://softonet.pl/zdjecia/pliki/f/firefox_3_6.png - This is Mozilla Firefox 3.6, from when Mozilla Firefox really cared about how it's browser looks. It have best visuals within last 15 years, which is why I picked it as "framework".

For now I'm using this code for userChrome.css - https://pastebin.com/LgwecuzJ

It is lacking in many ways, one of saddest ones being fact that it somehow removes "new tab" button visually - functionality is there, but button is invisible.

First of all, take look at this: http://prntscr.com/hax15r - As you can see, multiple issues are visible just on this one screen. One - there is weird loading effect that should be gone. Two - there is some weird blue bar over active tab, that should be gone. Three - tabs are not curved on top. Four - tabs do not integrate into few pixels high line that's placed under tabs. Five - tabs are between 4 and 8 pixels too high overall.

Now, take a look at this: http://prntscr.com/hax9uz - As you can see, "previous page" is not bigger than "next page", and both utilize way worse design on buttons. This worse design is shared by refresh page (that for some reason is merged with stop loading page, rather than being separate icon) and home page.

Now, this: http://prntscr.com/haxalk - As you can see, adress bar is *way* too big, and letters in it are of way too big font as well. "Add to favorites" star is gone. Way of changing which search engine is used is way less intuitive. (Downloads button can stay, but it's current icon is rather unpleasant). In addition, extended menu button is not removable by personalize option.

Now, for only visual improvement that happened to Mozilla Firefox since 3.6:

This is what we see after opening new page - http://prntscr.com/haxcjz - yes, it can be changed back by going to about:config and changing browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled to false, as philipp told me - however, as he noted, we do not know for how long that option will be there. We need new script that keeps page looking *and working* like it does if you change that setting to false, without actually changing that setting to false - so it will keep working after Mozilla removes that superior function.

Please, if you can help at least in one piece of this - do help. It was really sad for me to use Mozilla Firefox for many years and see it getting worse and worse over time. If we can do something to make it look nice again... don't you think we should?

Thanks for quick reply, MkII. I'm afraid that this one goes back bit *too* far, with square buttons and such. It is 3.6 that's goal, not previous installments. Also, previews do not utilize standard firefox menu (File/Edit/view/History/Bookmarks/Tools/Help), so we can't fully estimate how it will work.

All right. Do you think you could help me pick proper options from there? ( https://github.com/Aris-t2/CustomCSSforFx ) I have already got lot of progress, but these things still need fixing:

Pernamently removing new menu (3 bars button on right side of download button) - all of it's functionalities are already in File/Edit/View ect >_>

Reducing size of adress bar (and size of font in it)

Changing (modified) tabs bar into really light grey (they are transparent. Again.)

Adding "Add to bookmarks" star to right side of adress tab field, as seen in screenshots from Firefox 3.6 (and removing these junk options http://prntscr.com/hbkld7 )

Bring back pre-Quantum new tab so we don't have to rely on soon-to-be-removed legacy setting... - sure, we can use legacy setting now but how long till Mozilla decides they no longer want users to have nice things? :(

Splitting "Reload page" and "Stop loading" to two *fully* separate buttons - at the moment most advanced script doing that still animates both at same time if one is active.

And, that one should be easy for you but hard for people outside of mozilla influence: Provide Firefox 3.6 icons for Download, Previous/Next page, Refresh, Stop Loading, Home page, in format compatible with those that are here: https://github.com/Aris-t2/CustomCSSforFx/tree/master/classic/image
