Firefox doesn't connect to anything. EI does, but not firefox. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, refreshed firefox button, and even in safe mode, the search doesn't do anything, the favorites, the health check, nothing.

I see that you say tou have uninstalled , reinstall but it looks like the Installer was the Smaller Stub Version.

Please follow this : Please uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved.

Install Firefox 56.0.2 using the Full Version Installer https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
