Bogus Unable to sync accounts message

1 I switched my A-V from f-secure to Bitdefender. 2 on my Android (Samsung phone only) it I keep getting an alert msg "unable to sync accounts \n Tap here to sign in to your Firefox account ***" 3 If I 'tap' it something quickly flashes on my screen. If I open Firefox directly, I I already AM signed and everything looks fine.

What to do?
