web pages open using edge when firefox is default browser

when uninstalling programs, I am directed to pages asking why I was uninstalling, no problem there but these pages are opened in Edge when Firefox 56.0.1 (64-bit) is my default browser, I never knowingly use Edge, can anybody please explain why, all help and advice appreciated.

The official Windows Installer (also used for many uninstalls) may be set up to always use the Microsoft browser. I don't uninstall enough programs to be able to say.

(I know that some programs use IE to display their HTML help files because the files were expressly created using components that do not run in other browsers.)

sorry, should have said I use Revo Uninstaller not windows uninstaller program

I don't know anything about Revo Uninstaller. Perhaps they have a forum where you can ask about it?

thank you jscher2000, I have submitted question to Revo forum, also for some reason ticked "Unhelpful" when should have ticked "Helpful", sorry
