Hi !
Your Chrome profile stores your browser settings, bookmarks, extensions, apps, and saved passwords. Your profile is stored in a separate folder on your computer, so if anything goes wrong with Chrome, your information is saved.
If you ever run into any problems with Chrome, trying a fresh profile can help you troubleshoot.
I think that this is data that Firefox stores in IndexedDB for its own use. All database names in local storage use hashed names, so it is not possible to see what data each of the SQLite database stores.
You can see more databases under permanent like the about:home page (moz-safe-about+home) and possible devtools settings (indexeddb+++fx-devtools).
Anyone know why its called chrome?

I think I know why you're asking ......
I hope this will answer your question :
Firefox uses the chrome protocol to access its internal files and also access files from extensions (no relation with Google Chrome whatsoever). In this case the name of the directory is named chrome, but you can also find chrome.manifest files in the Firefox program folder and in other places.
