Firefox always crashes - Mac El Capitan FF Version 56.01
Hi all,
I have been using FF for years and suddenly it crashes every single time, like EVERY time i open it. I have a Mac El Capitan and running the FF 56.0.1 version.
I have tried creating a new profile, nope, starting in safe mode, nope, completly uninstalled and reinstalled, nope and i have followed all of the other trouble shooting links on the FF website. I am currently using Safari to log this and it works.
Is there anything i can do/try to fix this?
Thanks in advance

El Capitan means nothing to me. It is Mac OS 10.11 please submit that next time or other places so I (others) do not have to search for that information. Thanks.
Support for Mac OS starts at 10.9 so you are a couple versions safe for now.
So might as well uninstall 1 more time and see if these work
Some people with Macs are going to the Extended Release ver 52.4.1 https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/ Above is a Full installer as is below https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ ver 56.0.1

Well done.
Not much here. Hmm . . .
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?

Hey, i tried starting in safe mode a few times and it crashes in safe mode as well. I'm finding this issue very strange. I haven't downloaded any new programs, i haven't visited any shady websites and others in my house don't use this computer.
Please post the new crash reports.
Did you try the Computer in Safe mode?

Let’s do a full clean re-install;
Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link}
Save the file. Then Close Firefox.
Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.
Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86)
Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-download-and-install-firefox-mac
Linux: Check your user manual. If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it. See Install Firefox on Linux; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-linux
If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder Firefox in your home directory. http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Do Not remove the profiles folder.
Look for, and rename any Mozilla or Firefox program folders by adding .old to them. Do not rename the Mozilla Thunderbird folder if there is one.
After rebooting the computer, run a registry scanner if you have one. Then run the installer. If all goes well, remove the OLD folders when you are done. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ If there is a problem, start your Computer in safe mode and try again.
