I would suggest following Cor-el's post. The risk is non-existent if follow directions.

"I accept the risk!" is only for randomly making changes to prefs that you do not understand.

This is a pref to change a standard feature that doesn't have an equivalent in the user interface. E.g. Zoom -> Zoom Text Only => browser.zoom.full

Changing this pref is fairly safe since it only affects whether Firefox remembers the zoom for each tab or for a specific domain (i.e. across tabs).
