Have you tried refreshing Firefox? Hello,

The Refresh feature (called "Reset" in older Firefox versions) can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.

Note: When you use this feature, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.

To Refresh Firefox:

  1. Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
    • Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
    • If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
  2. At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Refresh Firefox" ("Reset Firefox" in older Firefox versions). Click on it.
  3. Firefox will close. After the refresh process is completed, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
  4. Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.

I have refreshed firefox several times, did it again in case I missed something previously. When I open Farmville 2 everything on the page flashes like a jumping motion and I am unable to click anything on the page. I truly appreciate your help volunteer's are a special breed of people. I am a Senior Companion myself. I hope you can help me as I am addicted to the game. Thank you so very much.

When you load the game, are you sure all elements of the page are allowed?

For example, I couldn't attend a webinar because some elements in the page were disabled. I clicked the shield next to the URL to enable them and I could access the page. Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can https://wiki.canisius.edu/display/hd/Unblock+Blocked+Content+in+Firefox+and+Chrome

Oh my, you just went way over my head. I do not know that much about computers. Forgot to mention others are having problems. Top of my game page has- Hey farmers, if you have been having problems loading bar stuck issues on Firefox, try using Chrome or follow these instructions:Link "about:config" I did this did not change. I get no where with Chrome, bunch of virus stuff pops up saying I have bugs when I do not. Hope this was helpful. I do not remember where the URL is. Thanks

Ok located URL Firefox has blocked unsecure sites. Do I need to unblock? Is that why dom.ipc.plugins.asyncdrawing.enabled does not help because it is blocked?

You should be able to unlock the contents as shown in the link I gave you.

if you don't unlock them, you won't see the page correctly.

Are you sure this isn't due to malware? Scan your system for malware and retry.

Nope I have Windows Defender Antivirus it was up to date. Scanned again refreshed, opened new Firefox. Nothing has changed still jumping.

Are you able to see the page with other browsers, or is it totally unreachable?

Last few times trying to use Chrome I was unable to get to page due to pop ups of I have this or that virus. I figure they are just trying to sell me theirs.

My take on this is you should try to reach Farmville through its official webpage within Facebook. You might have been redirected to a fake page looking like the game, designed to infect your system with malware.

Looks like I'm screwed.. Also jumps on Facebook. I will shop for a solution today. Have a suggestion what I need to purchase? Not Norton, I bought one of their products, gives you a # to call then they try to get you to purchase more for $60.00. I did not have a problem at the time just thought I would try extra protection. Thank you very much for your help.

You can install free products, such as Avira and Avast!, no need for commercial products, honestly.

If you just wanna pay, I'd recommend NOD32 or Webroot.

You can also try using something like AdBlock Plus to stop these annoying ads from popping up.
