After updating our Mac to Sierra, Firefox won't open. I've deleted and downloaded Firefox, but still won't open. The only way we got it to open was with apple support in test mode. They recommended I contact you for help.

Please uninstall firefox and then delete the folders for it. Download and install the full installer from here.

Unfortunately, this did not work. When I click to open, the icon bounces but nevers open.

Can you boot into safe mode (Not a Mac user ) then try deleting.

If that fails try installing over top with full version installer. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ Then uninstall if it installs. Repeat install once removed.
