Many video's don't play correctly

Running Windows 10 w/8GB RAM. NVIDIA Graphics Card. Video's on Facebook frequently will play the audio but no video, or the video appears then stops almost immediately and other times the video will play for several seconds then stops. Sometimes the audio continues to play and occasionally the video will start later. Other times I get audio only and just a black screen with no video at all. It's very irritating. Any suggestions on what the problem is and how I can fix it? Thank you!
