firefox stops from being my default browser, why?

I loose Firefox as my default browser frequently. Why does this happen? It gets to be a Pain, to go through the process to reestablish it. As a suggestion to firefox, you need to let us know when it is changed from Default to non-default. Also Firefox should have ONE BUTTON TO SET IT, AS DEFAULT.
