i have my email addresses set up in thunderbird. i like to leave emails open in tabs as a 'to do' reminder. usually i have been able to open messages and leave them open, switch off computer overnight and when i reload thunderbird the next day all my opened tabs are still there to remind me what i need to get done. i only used to lose the message tabs when thunderbird crashed but lately they are gone every other day. i'm finding this extremely annoying. is there a way i can make sure they stay open? there isn't even an option to open recently closed tabs. it seems to be advertising (request for financial support) from mozilla that causes the problem as when the tabs are gone there is a open message pane with mozilla message. i understand they need financial support but when they shut my open tabs, it certainly doesn't make me want to contribute financially. makes me want to find another provider :( can anyone offer a solution please? cheers

Do you use CCleaner or something similar to 'cleanse' TB? It can reset the session tabs if you're not careful.
