Bing and plastic umbrella are trying to override the Firefox browser and I don't know how to block them
Plasticumbrella overrode the browser when an Application update came up which I thought was for my computer applications (Mac) so I deleted it in preferences and re-instated Firefox and rebooted but then Bing somehow took over?
Additional System Details
- Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0
- User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
