Is it the combination icon of the star and book/clipboard?

Try using the Customize mode to drag that back to the desired location on the toolbar. This article should get you there: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

If you meant the separate Bookmarks Toolbar:

You can use one of these methods to show the toolbar list and select the desired bar(s) there:

  • right-click a blank spot on the tab bar (or the "+" button)
  • tap the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar > View > Toolbars
  • in Customize mode > Show/Hide Toolbars button

To turn on the Bookmarks Toolbar, Menu Bar, or other bars, click it on the list.
