need help... finding hidden intruder

need help... I have an intruder that not detected by other means including my modem. they start up when firefox launches and quits when shuts down need someones help windows 10, firefox v 59.1.0 Tried several virus and malware programs reset modem configurations etc. very annoying . Used firefox for about 15 years now and never encountered this one before.
