Drop-downs and buttons don't work in Firefox

Posted

I asked this before, but never solved it: On a number of websites I find that drop down boxes for dates etc don't work in Firefox, though they work fine in Safari. I have problems with these sites for example:

https://www.thetrainline.com https://www.airbnb.co.uk

Question owner

As a supplementary, I note that some websites never open in Firefox, but display without problems in Chrome and Safari.

I'm guessing this is related.

I'm reluctant to change browser since I've been using Firefox for many years.
