How do I restore my start page which showed all messages. Today it won't connect me to my email messages.

Today, after years without change, my Tbird opening page changed from displaying all messages, new and old, received, sent, etc., to a generic page that has three big bold categories: Email, Accounts, and Advanced Features. NONE OF THEM will let me connect to my normal message page. I'm totally blocked from my messages, new and old. I tried Tools, Options, etc. and no help there. Is there no way to get my original start page back? I'm expecting important messages. How do I get back to normal?
