after updating to Firefox 49.0.2 when i click on the full screen button in an embedded video using the html5 player it shows a small message "Full screen unavailable". I've tried starting Firefox in safe mode and still have the problem. I have not added or removed any add-ons.
ok here is the funny part for days I couldn't get any video on youtube to go full screen now for some reason the problem has just went away on its own.Read this answer in context 👍 0

Yes have flash installed, but some videos default to the html5 player
hi, I think it's not due to firefox. A lot of websites with embedded videos block the fullscreen support.
A question : if you go to youtube.com, can you access to fullscreen videos?
