For the built-in PDF viewer, can the default page colors (background, text) be changed?

I reduce eye strain by using dark themes (light text on dark background). Simple, plain text PDFs are displayed with black text on a white (page) background. For these PDFs (that don't specify their own colors), with the Firefox built-in PDF viewer, can the default colors (background, text) be changed?
