hi, firefox uses google's safebrowsing list to warn users on domains which contain malware. you can switch that off in the firefox security settings. How does built-in Phishing and Malware Protection work?

Mozilla nor the Firefox web browser is blocking the site specifically, it is Google that is doing the warning in the last day in Chrome and Firefox.

Browsers like Firefox does use Safe Browsing and the status is https://www.google.com/transparencyreport/safebrowsing/diagnostic/#url=thepiratebay.org

If is it, then Google always will block pirate bay and other torrent sites Remember than RIAA and other copyright holders between their practices to reduce piracy, include make malicious seeds to broke / add malware to illegal downloads
