Every time I access Firefox it wants me to download a zip file update to widevinecdm. How do I stop this?
Firefox Add-Ons says Widevine is installed and doesn't need updating. I have downloaded the zip file and extracted the four files it contains, but not one them appears to be an update. The largest file is widevincdm.dll at 5655Kb. How do I either install the update or stop the pestering to download it? I've scanned the files with Bullguard which says they are clean.
I'm using Firefox 49.0b6 on the update channel. I'm not aware of this happening on my other PC which is not on the beta channel.
Thanks,
Alan
